“Fossi in te, me ne andrei (lontano)” (If I Were You, I’d Leave… Far Away) – Doormat of Truth

Sometimes the best welcome is an honest warning. This Doormat of Truth doesn't beat around the bush: it offers a precious, life-saving tip to anyone about to reach for the doorbell: "Fossi in te, me ne andrei (lontano)".

It's the ultimate accessory for the professional misanthrope, or for anyone who wants to spare potential guests the awkwardness of a host who is definitely not in the mood for small talk. It's not rudeness, it's a public service: a kind but firm invitation to make a U-turn and try again another day... or better yet, another year.

The message is sharp, but the craftsmanship is solid: top-grade natural coir to clean the soles of whoever runs off, and a deep laser engraving that isn't afraid of the wear of time (or of your patience).
