A digital craft workshop.
We were founded by two brothers in San Vito dei Normanni, in the heart of Alto Salento. This is where graduation laurel wreaths, decorative luminarie, designer lamps, and custom-made pieces come to life: designed, printed, and finished by hand.
A category that didn't exist before.
On August 16, 2020, we 3D printed our first prototype of a traditional Salento luminaria in plant-based PLA: Apulian tradition, 3D printing, and bioplastic in a single object.
That's how what we call the Bio-Luminaria Artigianale (artisan bio-luminaria) was born. The company, I Luminari S.R.L.S., was founded in 2021; our first shop opened in November 2021, and since 2023 we've been at Via Annunziata 32.
Our goal hasn't changed: to make signature design accessible to everyone, with an alternative to traditional wooden luminarie and to laurel wreaths that only last three days.

August 16: the first Apulian luminaria printed entirely in 3D.
The company is founded, online sales begin, and the first store opens in November.
Laser engraving and custom personalization arrive.
Signs and promotional items for businesses. We move into our current workshop.
Professional embroidery machine and vinyl plotter. The Lumiè line is born.
Seven technologies in one workshop. Since February: graduation laurel wreaths.

Francesco Massaro
CEO and Founder
Qualified aeronautical technician, creative by training. He handles design, communication, and artificial intelligence: he automates processes, generates images, and builds apps.
I have always been a creative person. Since I was a child, I loved drawing, and as soon as I had access to a computer, I began experimenting with the potential of graphic design software.
Alessandro Massaro
Technical Director and Founder
Qualified industrial automation technician and a born techie. He's always taken things apart and put them back together to see how they work. He runs production, the machines, and the technical side of the workshop.
I have always wondered how technology worked. During my studies, I had the opportunity to disassemble and reassemble all kinds of components: it was my favorite pastime.
The seven technologies
3D printing
The entire lighting line, prototypes and components, in plant-based PLA.
Engraving and cutting
Wreath leaves, doormats, cutting boards, wine glasses, and place cards.
Cutting plotter
Lettering for bows, T-shirts, and sweatshirts, plus decals for cars and helmets.
Professional embroidery
Embroidered bows, corporate apparel, patches, and wedding items.
Reverse engineering
Discontinued parts and spares, so nothing that can be repaired gets thrown away.
LEDs and electronics
LEDs chosen for size and color temperature, in every light-up product.
Artificial intelligence
To automate processes and develop apps.
Signature design, for everyone.
Making signature design accessible to everyone, with a sustainable alternative to traditional lighting, without giving up quality or the identity of our region. In 2023 the international magazine 3D Natives featured us in an interview; Telenorba and several local outlets have also told our story.
